February 22, 2025 – Royal University through the Data and Information Center Institute (PUSDATIN) successfully held a Digital Archiving Workshop on Saturday, February 22, 2025. This activity was held in the campus computer laboratory and was attended by educational staff and lecturers of Royal University as an effort to improve skills in digital-based archive management.

This workshop presents Mr. Afdhal Syafnur, M.Kom as the main speaker. He shared insights and best practices in archive digitization, from storage techniques, management, to data recovery using the latest software. Participants gain hands-on experience in managing digital documents, which are expected to be applied in academic and administrative activities at Royal University.

In his presentation, Mr. Afdhal Syafnur, M.Kom emphasized the importance of digitizing archives in the university environment to improve efficiency, security, and accessibility of information. "Digital transformation in archive management is a strategic step in supporting more modern university governance that is responsive to the development of the times," he said.

The enthusiasm of the participants was evident from the active interaction during the session. With this workshop, Royal University continues to demonstrate its commitment to improving the competence of academic human resources and encouraging the use of technology in the campus environment.
