Universitas Royal held a “Scopus Publication Writing Workshop Webinar” with resource person Mr. Satria Yudha Prayogi, S.T., M.Kom. This activity aims to improve the productivity and functional positions of lecturers.
Wednesday, March 5, 2025 – Universitas Royal once again demonstrated its commitment to improving academic quality by successfully holding a “Webinar Workshop on Writing Scopus Publications: Efforts to Improve Lecturers’ Productivity and Functional Positions”. This activity was carried out online and presented Mr. Satria Yudha Prayogi, S.T., M.Kom., who currently serves as Secretary of the UISU Research Institute, as the main resource person.
In his presentation, Mr. Satria Yudha Prayogi highlighted the importance of scientific publications in reputable journals, especially Scopus, as one of the main indicators in the development of a lecturer's academic career. "Writing publications in international journals is not only an academic demand, but also an effort to contribute to the development of global science. By understanding the right techniques and strategies, lecturers can increase their research productivity," he said.
This webinar was attended by lecturers from Universitas Royal who are heavily involved in writing scientific articles. During the workshop session, participants were given step-by-step guidance in writing scientific articles that meet Scopus journal standards, starting from topic selection, article structure, to strategies in dealing with the review process.
The Chancellor of Universitas Royal, Mrs. Wan Mariatul Kifti, S.E., M.M, in her speech expressed her appreciation for the enthusiasm of the participants in attending this webinar. "We hope that this activity can provide better insight and skills for lecturers in scientific publications, so that they can improve their academic quality and functional positions," she said.
Participants were also given the opportunity to have a live discussion with the resource person, who answered various questions related to challenges and strategies in international publications. Many participants expressed that this webinar was very helpful in understanding the process of writing quality publications.
