Kisaran, March 19, 2025 – In an effort to improve the quality of research and community service, Universitas Royal through LPPM Universitas Royal held a BIMA 2025 Research and Community Service Grant Proposal Writing Workshop. This activity took place on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 in Kisaran and presented expert speaker, Ir. Robert Tua Siregar, M.Sc., Ph.D, a National Reviewer and Doctoral Lecturer in Management at Prima Indonesia University.

This workshop aims to equip Universitas Royal lecturers in compiling competitive research grant proposals that are in accordance with BIMA 2025 standards. In his presentation, Ir. Robert Tua Siregar, M.Sc., Ph.D emphasized the importance of understanding the latest policies in the research grant funding system and strategies in compiling proposals that have high competitiveness.
“A good research proposal not only has novelty and clear scientific contribution, but must also be in accordance with the needs of society and the vision of the institution,” he said.
Workshop participants gained in-depth insights into the stages of proposal preparation, effective writing techniques, and tips for proposals to pass the national research grant selection. In addition, the resource person also provided a review of an example of a Universitas Royal lecturer's proposal to successfully obtain grant funding as a reference for participants.


Vice Rector 1 for Academic Affairs of Universitas Royal, Mrs. Elly Rahayu, S.E., M.M, expressed her appreciation for the enthusiasm of the participants in attending this workshop. "We hope that with this training, more Royal University lecturers will succeed in obtaining research and community service grants, so that they can make real contributions to the development of science and the advancement of society," she said.

With the holding of this workshop, Universitas Royal further strengthens its commitment to improving the quality of research and community service. It is hoped that similar activities can continue to be carried out to encourage academic productivity of lecturers in producing scientific works that are beneficial to the progress of the nation.
