Kisaran, January 11, 2025 – Another brilliant achievement was achieved by Royal University students at the provincial level. The team consisting of Febrina Aulya Putri (NIM: 22220025), Nurul Masytha Siagian (NIM: 22220051), and M. Ibnu Alwi Panjaitan (NIM: 22210022) won the Best Paper award in the Grand Final of the Scientific Writing Competition (LKTI) organized by the Library and Literacy Community of Panca Budi University, Medan.

Carrying the title of the paper "SIAP (Innovative Solutions for Productive Agribusiness): Transforming Palm Oil Waste with AI for Financial Independence by Gen Z", the Royal University team presented an innovation based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology that provides creative solutions in processing palm oil waste into products with high economic value.

The competition was attended by students from various universities in North Sumatra with the aim of increasing financial literacy and creativity of the millennial and Gen Z generations in developing independent economic potential. Of the 19 teams that qualified, only the five best teams made it to the grand final round.
The Royal University team was able to compete closely with other participants and received high appreciation from the jury thanks to their innovative ideas and sharp analytical quality in their work. "We feel very grateful and proud to be able to bring the name of Royal University to the provincial level. This is proof that with hard work and support from the campus, we can give our best," said Febrina as Team Leader
The Chancellor of Royal University, Mrs. Wan Mariatul Kifti, S.E., M.M also gave her appreciation for this achievement. "The achievements of Febrina, Nurul, and Ibnu show the quality of Royal University students who are highly competitive in academics and innovation. We will continue to support students to achieve higher achievements," she said.

This Best Paper Award is a real step in supporting the vision of Royal University as a campus that produces students with character and global competitiveness in the field of socio-technopreneurship.
Hopefully this achievement will inspire other students to continue working and bring Royal University to a higher stage of achievement.
