Kisaran, December 13, 2024 – Royal University once again held an inspiring academic activity through Kuliah Umum titled “Revolution in the Digital Economy”. This event was held on Friday, December 13, 2024, at the Royal University Campus 2 Hall and was attended by students from the Management and Information Systems study programs.
This public lecture presents Dr. Sri Rezeki, S.E., M.Si., Chairman of STIE Eka Prasetya, as the main speaker. He is an experienced academic and economic practitioner who provides in-depth insights regarding the transformation of the digital economy in the industrial era 4.0.

In her presentation, Dr. Sri Rezeki explained how the digital revolution has changed the global economic order, including the challenges and opportunities that can be utilized by the younger generation. "Amidst the rapid development of technology, students must be able to adapt, innovate, and create creative solutions in order to be part of the development of the digital economy," she said.

In addition to the public lecture, this event also became an important momentum for Royal University and STIE Eka Prasetya. Both institutions signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) as a form of strategic cooperation in the fields of education, research, and human resource development. The signing of this MoU is expected to strengthen collaboration between universities in producing quality graduates who are ready to face global challenges.

Vice Chancellor 1 of Royal University, Dr. Rizky Fauziah, M.Ikom., M.Kom, in his speech, expressed his high appreciation for the implementation of this activity and the importance of the cooperation that was built. "This public lecture is also a real step to expand synergy between universities. With this collaboration, we hope that both institutions can support each other and collaborate in various academic activities and student competency development," he said.

The enthusiasm of the students was evident throughout the event, especially in the question and answer session. Interesting discussions related to the implementation of the digital economy in business, entrepreneurship, and career opportunities in the digital era colored the general lecture. The participants admitted to gaining many new insights and better understanding of their important role in facing technology-based economic changes.
With the implementation of this activity and the establishment of cooperation between Royal University and STIE Eka Prasetya, Royal University is increasingly strengthening its steps in realizing its vision as a university with character, quality culture, and global insight.
