Kisaran, December 20, 2024 – Royal University has again demonstrated its commitment to expanding its network of collaborations by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with three strategic institutions, namely:
- GEKRAFS (National Creative Economy Movement) Asahan Regency
- Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Asahan Regency
- Setio Husodo Hospital, Kisaran
The MoU signing ceremony took place on Friday, December 20, 2024, located at Royal University Campus 2 Hall.

Chancellor of the Royal University, Mrs. Wan Mariatul Kifti, S.E., M.M In his speech, he said that this collaboration is a strategic step to support Royal University's vision of producing superior and globally competitive graduates. "The synergy between the world of education, creative economy, statistics, and health services is the key to creating innovation and solutions that are relevant to society. We hope that this collaboration can produce great benefits for all parties," he said.
The MoU with each institution has a different focus:
- GEKRAFS Asahan Regency: Supporting the development of the creative economy, including training and mentoring students in the field of creativity-based entrepreneurship.
- Central Statistics Agency of Asahan Regency: Strengthening collaboration in statistical data collection and analysis to support data-driven research and policy.
- Setio Husodo Hospital, Kisaran: Enhance cooperation in health services, medical research, and internship programs for students of the Royal University Faculty of Health.
Representatives from the three institutions expressed their enthusiasm for this collaboration. The Head of GEKRAFS Asahan Regency emphasized the importance of collaboration with universities in building a sustainable creative economy ecosystem. The Head of BPS Asahan Regency highlighted the contribution of Royal University in developing data-based research, while the Director of Setio Husodo Hospital hoped that this collaboration could improve competence.
With this MoU, Royal University continues to prove its dedication to creating cross-sector synergies that support the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, namely education, research, and community service.
