February 21, 2025 – Royal University, formerly known as STMIK Royal, has once again made a proud achievement in the academic world. At the event LLDIKTI Region 1 Student Academic Award 2025, STMIK Royal (which has now transformed into Royal University) has won two prestigious awards in different categories.
The first award was received in the category The Largest Number of Research and Community Service Proposal Titles Receiving Funding from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology's DRPM in 2024, where the Royal University managed to achieve Silver Winner. This award is real evidence of the university's contribution in developing research and community service that is beneficial for the advancement of science and technology.
In addition, Royal University also received the Bronze Winner award for the category The Most Recipients of the Student Creativity Program (PKM) from the Directorate General of Higher Education, Directorate of Learning and Student Affairs in 2024. This achievement demonstrates the institution's commitment to encouraging student creativity and innovation in various fields.
This award ceremony took place on February 21, 2025 at Truntum Hotel, Padang, and organized by LLDIKTI Region 1 North Sumatra. This achievement further strengthens the position of Royal University as one of the leading universities in Indonesia that continues to be committed to improving academic quality and contribution to society.
