Kisaran, December 19, 2024 – Royal University has once again demonstrated its commitment to improving the quality of education through activities Curriculum Development Workshop Based on Outcome Based Education (OBE) for the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education which was implemented on Thursday, December 19, 2024 in Royal University Campus 2 Hall.
This event features keynote speakers Prof. Dr. Fauziyah Harahap, M.Si, an expert in education with extensive experience in OBE-based curriculum development. In his presentation, he explained the importance of the OBE approach in curriculum development to produce graduates who have competencies according to the needs of industry and society.
“OBE-based curriculum focuses not only on learning materials, but also on achieving measurable and relevant learning outcomes. This is important to ensure that students are ready to face the world of work and are able to contribute globally,” said Prof. Dr. Fauziyah Harahap.
The workshop was attended by lecturers from the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education of Royal University. Sessions in the workshop included interactive discussions and curriculum development practices based on measurable learning outcomes.
Chancellor of the Royal University, Mrs. Wan Mariatul Kifti, S.E., M.M In his speech, he expressed the hope that this workshop would produce an innovative and adaptive curriculum. "We are committed to continuously improving the quality of education at Royal University. Through this workshop, we hope to create a curriculum that is not only relevant to current developments, but also supports our vision to produce graduates with character and global insight," he said.
This workshop is a strategic step for Royal University in strengthening the learning system, in line with the institution's vision to become a leading university at national and international levels.
